Parker's Middle School Band was invited to join the Arbor View band to play during their Homecoming Football Game on Friday. (Parker was pretty excited to get his own lyre to hold his music) The students had to arrive 2 hours before game time so I came a little later with Miranda and her friends. Parker took his seat among the other Sax players and awaited their turn to play. Once the Arbor View band did their opening number on the field, they joined the Middle school band on the stand. They were all mixed up so everyone was sitting next to someone new.
(Parker wished he could have sat next to his friends) They did a great job...here's a little snippit of one of their songs...
Miranda, Madison and Rachel had a great time cruising the crowds for all their Arbor View friends. The whole experience brought back a lot of memories of my High School years and Homecoming night and floats and just everything about High School...the good and the bad :)
The band was released after half time so I'm not sure who ended up winning, but it was 17-0 Arbor View ahead when we left.....go aggies?!

I've totally been reliving high school through Jessica by going to her high school football games! It's kind of weird!
Gee Whiz! 17-0 sounds like the good old days at BHS! Not! Looks like fun and the band sounds great.
